The Trust Economy

Six days. Four cities. One national reckoning with the systems 200 million Nigerians run on, the same year testing became a licensed, regulated profession in Nigeria. NSTW 2026 brings together Africa's largest quality engineering community, 35,000+ professionals strong, with the regulators, companies, and rising talent who need them most. Not a conference. The week trust in Nigerian technology gets built, in public, on the record.

About NSTW26

Quality Engineering for the systems 200 Million Nigerians Run On

Every Transaction in Nigeria Digital economy begins with a silent question: Will this work? Am I safe? Is my data protected? When the answer is yes, money moves, businesses grow, and a nation runs. When the answer is no, trust breaks, and trust is the one currency no institution can afford to lose.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Nigeria Software Testing Week (NSTW) is the country's largest national gathering of software testers and quality engineers. It is a week-long convening of practitioners, engineering leaders, employers, regulators, academia, and students, dedicated to the discipline that decides whether the software Nigeria runs on actually works. NSTW is convened by Testify Limited, Africa's leading quality engineering institution.
Monday, September 7 to Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Across six days and multiple physical touchpoints — the School Career Day in Enugu, the Campus Career Day in Ilorin, Government Day in Abuja, a virtual Closed Door Training, the Abuja Summit, and the Lagos Summit with its closing Dinner Night & Award Ceremony — with every day also streamed live nationwide online.
The Trust Economy: Quality Engineering for the Systems 200 Million Nigerians Run On. Every transaction, every app, every government platform depends on software people can trust, and NSTW 2026 is dedicated to the professionals who make that trust hold.
NSTW is convened by Testify Limited and its Founder and CEO, Princess Ibironke Yekinni, who also convenes the pan-continental Africa Product Quality Engineering Conference (APQEC). Testify Limited convenes Africa's largest software testing community, over 35,000 professionals across 18+ countries, and has trained more than 7,000+ quality professionals.
Software testers and QA engineers at every level; developers and engineering leaders; CTOs, VPs of engineering, and heads of quality; students and career switchers exploring the field; trainers and academics; and government and regulatory stakeholders. If your work touches whether software works, this week is for you.
Yes. NSTW is built for every stage of the journey, from people considering the career for the first time to practitioners with years of experience. There are sessions dedicated to newcomers, including a student edition on Day 1 and career pathways throughout the week.
Registration is available on this website. Select your ticket type, complete the form, and you will receive confirmation and joining details by email.
Yes. NSTW 2026 is a genuinely hybrid event. All six thematic tracks and the government day stream live nationwide, so you can take part fully from anywhere in Nigeria or beyond.
Registered participants will have access to selected session recordings after the event. Details are shared with registrants closer to the date.
Participants who attend qualifying sessions receive a certificate of participation. Details are provided during registration.
Six days across five touchpoints: keynotes and panels from national and international voices; six thematic tracks covering fintech quality, telecom and infrastructure, AI product testing, security, careers, and more; a government day on software quality in the public sector; hands-on masterclasses; a career fair connecting testers to employers; and a closing Dinner Night & Award Ceremony honouring the profession's finest.
The tracks span the areas where software quality matters most in Nigeria today, including fintech and payments, telecom and infrastructure, AI product testing, security and resilience, careers and professional growth, and the public sector. The full track schedule is published on the programme page.
NSTW convenes national and international voices in quality engineering, alongside engineering leaders from Nigeria's leading banks, fintechs, telecoms, and technology companies, and senior figures from government and regulatory institutions. Speaker announcements are published in the weeks before the event.
The black-tie close of the week, held in Lagos, where the profession honours its outstanding testers, engineering teams, and the organisations whose products set the national standard for quality. It is a celebration, a networking occasion, and the moment the year's finest work is recognised.
The Testify Library is the collection of books launched at NSTW 2026 under the campaign "Six Books. One Week." Written by Convener Princess Ibironke Yekinni, the collection spans the entire journey of the profession, from a child's first introduction to a practitioner's mastery.
Six titles launch across the week, including a book for senior secondary students, a children's book with a parental guide, a practitioner book on AI testing, a software testing toolbox, a career book, and a reflective title unveiled at the Dinner Night. Launch days and details are published on the programme page.
Copies are available onsite at the Abuja and Lagos summits, with signing sessions by the author. Availability and ordering details, including for online buyers, are shared during the event and on this website.
Because NSTW sponsorship is working value, not logo placement. Sponsors gain testing engagements on their own products by vetted professionals, consultancy from senior quality engineers, training for their own QA teams, first access to the country's best testing talent, and a seat beside the regulators shaping Nigeria's digital quality agenda, all before the largest quality engineering community in Africa.
There are five tiers, from Headline Partner through Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze, each with a defined package of visibility, engagement, and working value. Category exclusivity is available at the Platinum tier, one partner per industry. Full details are in the sponsorship guide, available on request.
Contact the Convener directly at ibironke@ibironkeyekinni.com to request the sponsorship guide and arrange a briefing. Founding partner rates apply to the 2026 edition and close in mid-August.
Yes. Exhibition stands and access to the career fair and CV book are available within sponsorship packages and as standalone options. Contact the team to discuss.
Yes. NSTW works with government agencies, associations, academic institutions, and community partners on non-financial partnerships built around participation, amplification, and shared value. Reach out to discuss what fits your institution.
Speaking opportunities are curated by the programme team. Express your interest through the contact channel on this website with a short note on your proposed topic and your background, and the team will be in touch if there is a fit.
Yes. NSTW runs on a dedicated volunteer team across registration, stage management, media, and community coordination. Volunteering is an excellent way to be close to the profession and its leaders. Register your interest through the website.
Yes. NSTW actively partners with communities, chapters, and meetups across the country and the continent. Reach out to explore how your community can take part.
Catering arrangements at the summits and the Dinner Night are detailed in the relevant ticket information on the registration page.
Accessibility information for each physical venue is published closer to the event. If you have specific access requirements, please let the team know during registration so arrangements can be made.
Email ibironke@ibironkeyekinni.com, or use the contact form on this website. For sponsorship and partnership enquiries, the same address reaches the Convener directly.
Follow the announcements on this website and across the NSTW and Testify Group channels. Registering for the event also puts you on the list for programme updates, speaker announcements, and joining details.

Everyone's Talking About NSTW26

As someone who's been in QA for 6+ years, I've been hoping for something like this. NSTW25 feels like the beginning of something great for Nigeria's software testing space.
